Yes, I am a woman. The woman who doesn’t know when did her cuteness turned into beauty and her pretty frocks became talk of the town. The woman who could never realise the clothes she is wearing will be the parameter of her character and that she should not have asked for wearing punjabi suits in her childhood as that’s the only thing she’s gonna wear for the rest of her life once she turns a woman.
Yes, I am a woman. The one who could not fulfil her dreams simply for the reason she is a woman.
I could not become a dancer because my audience will see everything except my dance when I’ll be on stage. I could not become a doctor because my father spent all his earnings on my brother as I won’t be able to return his investments after marriage if I become a doctor. I am that woman who could not be what she wanted as she was supposed to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to her in-laws, the household jobs that are labelled as RESPONSIBILITIES. I am that woman who could not leave the house when her husband was doubting her character.
Yes, I am a woman. The one with loud voice in public with no shame of her voice, the one with a wild laughter living the moment to the fullest. The one who goes out for drinks and has the courage to say ‘NO’.
Yes, I am a woman. Taking a lot of time to get ready but stuns you once she’s out, putting nail paints at any point of time to reduce her stress. The one who may be crying more than you but is way better than you when it comes to Emotional Quotient.
Yes, I am a woman, I won’t say I am equivalent to you as there is no scope for comparison.
